THIRD PARTY FOOD SAFETY INSPECTIONS
The ARF Food Safety Audit Process
Our food safety audit’s criteria is based on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Model Food Code, county, and local regulatory authority standards. Unlike a compliance or quality assurance audit, We partner with your team members to encourage adoption of critical food safety practices. We do this by providing a positive assessment experience with direct feedback on what's being done right as well as focusing on coaching employees in areas that need improvement.
We study your foodservice operations, job specific roles, and even equipment layout issues that can affect a business’s operation. ARF will review existing building and construction and the general safety of the facility, a GAP analysis and pre-assessment to determine each site’s operational service needs, identification of any needs for proper signage, identification of any sources of potential cross contamination utilizing time and temperature control and health control guidelines. ARF shall ensure all necessary supplies and materials (e.g., thermometers, aprons, gloves, etc.) are on site to ensure proper handling of food and ensure sanitary conditions.
ARF will assure that your food safety plans and programs, including your allergen, sanitation, supply chain and food recall plans, are compliant with all federal, state and local rules and regulations. We work hand-in-hand with you to assure that you not only comply with all state and local health codes, but that you also have a process in place to effectively deal with unannounced inspector visits without having to sacrifice your exceptional customer service.
